About The Emergency Response Commission To Address the Health Care Crisis in Alabama

The Emergency Response Commission to address the healthcare crisis in Alabama was created by Senate Joint Resolution 81 and approved by the State Legislature on May 4, 2004. The commission is charged with developing recommendations to decrease the cost of health care for Alabama citizens and businesses, increase access to health care, and improve the quality of health care for Alabama citizens.
