Governor appoints Get
Healthy Alabama! to Healthcare Emergency Response Commission
Alabama Governor Bob Riley has appointed Get Healthy Alabama!
to the Emergency Response Commission to address the healthcare
crisis in Alabama. Created by Senate Joint Resolution 81, approved
by the State Legislature on May 4, 2004, the commission is charged
with developing recommendations to decrease the cost of health care
for Alabama citizens and businesses, increase access to health care,
and improve the quality of health care for Alabama citizens.
